How to Fix Fortnite Problems on Android

Dear Android users! I previously wrote an article about installing Fortnite on unsupported Android devices. There will be a message “ Device Not Supported, Device Does Not Have A Compatible GPU” on the screen if your phone is not in the list of the supported Android devices when you install this game. I understand your trouble, so today I decide to write this post to fix problems with Fortnite when setting up the game on your Android device. 

Don’t waste your time anymore, here is how to fix Fortnite problems so that you can play it smoothly on your unsupported device.

Solutions to Fix Fortnite Problems on Android

Many of you have trouble installing the game, so this post will mainly focus on fixing this issue. With other problems like GPU, or crashing, I will update later. Let’s get started.

Fix Issues with Installing Fortnite

Step 1: First, you need to download an app, called APK Editor Pro from the link below:

Step 2: Install the app on your Android device. Wait for the installation to complete.

Step 3: When done, open the app, select APK from app and  tap on Fortnite app

Step 4: Choose Full Edit from the popup message and you will be taken to an editing screen.

Step 5: Tap on Files at the bottom and select DEX> Smali

Step 6: Tap on Smali folder > Com > Epicgames > Ue4

Step 7: In this screen, find out and tap on GameActivity.smali to open it

Step 8:  Click on Search button and then type in: processSystemInfo

Step 9: Leave the app running in the background, visit the link above and download Code Fortnite. Copy the code.

Step 9: Now, open the APK Editor Pro again and paste it into the empty line underneath “.register 28” line

Step 10: Save it and tap on Build. Simply wait for the process to complete.

Step 11: Once it’s done, tap on Remove to uninstall Fortnite. After that, tap on Install > Package Installer to reinstall the Fortnite on your Android device.

Fix There Was A Problem Error

If you are encountering the “there was a problem” screen while loading the game, then simply tap on Play again to reload it. Sometime, the corrupted Wi-Fi connection is the main cause.

Fix We Hit A Roadblock Error

If you see a “we hit a roadblock” error while playing the game, you should just tap on “Play again” button to reload the game. In case the error still remains, you should install a free VPN app and fake it into other regions.

Fix “App is not installed” problem

Many Android users have reported that they encountered with a message “App is not installed” when installing the mod version of Fortnite. If you are also facing the same issue, follow these steps below to fix it. The solution is very simple:

Step 1: Open the App drawer on your phone and drag the Fortnite app icon to the Trash icon to uninstall it.

Step 2: Go to the Download folder and re-install the mod version of Fortnite again.
